These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Stagio, an AI virtual staging and decluttering service for real estate photos. By creating an account or using Stagio, you agree to these Terms.
1. The service
Stagio turns photographs of empty or occupied rooms into staged or decluttered listing images using AI image-generation models, followed by an automated quality-control step. Every export carries a machine-readable provenance tag (C2PA) as required by the EU AI Act's transparency rules for synthetic and manipulated media.
2. Accounts
You sign in via a passwordless magic link sent to your email. You are responsible for keeping access to that inbox secure. Accounts are for real estate professionals and individuals uploading photos they own or are authorized to process; TODO(lawyer) confirm any age/eligibility restriction wording required for the target markets.
3. Credits and payment
Generations are paid for with credits purchased in packs or granted as promotional credit. Credits are consumed per accepted generation as described in-app. All payments are processed by Stripe and a VAT invoice is issued for every paid order. TODO(founder/lawyer): confirm refund/chargeback wording against Czech consumer-protection law (distance-selling withdrawal rights for digital services delivered immediately).
4. Your content and license to us
You retain ownership of the photos you upload and the images Stagio generates for you. You grant Stagio a limited license to process, store, and transmit those images solely to provide the service (staging, decluttering, quality control, export, and support). We do not use your images to train AI models — see the Privacy Policy.
5. AI-generated output and your responsibilities
Staged and decluttered images are illustrative marketing material, not a guarantee of the property's actual condition. You are responsible for complying with local advertising and listing-disclosure laws that require staged or virtually altered photos to be labeled as such. Stagio's provenance tagging supports, but does not replace, that obligation.
6. Quality control, re-rolls, and refunds
Every generation is automatically scored before delivery. Results that fail quality control are held for review rather than shown as final, and may be redone or refunded rather than charged. TODO(founder): publish the concrete re-roll cap and refund SLA once finalized.
7. Acceptable use
You may not upload photos you do not have the right to use, content depicting minors in a manner unrelated to real estate marketing, or material that is unlawful, infringing, or misleading beyond ordinary staging. We may suspend accounts that violate this section.
8. Termination and account deletion
You may delete your account at any time from account settings, which triggers the erasure process described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate accounts for breach of these Terms, non-payment, or abuse.
9. Liability
TODO(lawyer): standard EU/Czech-compliant limitation-of-liability clause, including any mandatory carve-outs (gross negligence, willful misconduct, statutory consumer rights) that cannot be limited under applicable law.
10. Governing law and disputes
TODO(lawyer): confirm governing law (expected: laws of the Czech Republic) and forum/consumer-ODR wording appropriate for cross-border EU customers.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced in-app or by email before they take effect.
